Infinity II was a university project course. Our task was to create a
3D-Concept for a fictional brand in a zero-gravity environment. I chose a
furniture store for space capsules: BLUE LIVING was born.
Although the brand was to be fictitious, you had to be able to explain how it
could work in the future, based on the knowledge we have today. So this task
also involved a lot of scientific research. When I started studying design
I didn't realize that my physics and math teachers weren't lying when they said
"You'll need this later!"
The following is an impressionistic tour of the
Furniture Store!
I was responsible for the concept, modeling the environment,
materials, lighting and rendering. The 3D people, as well as decorating objects
are from the library of C4D and Mixamo.
Year 2222
2060 - Man has made the earth uninhabitable. Due to climatic disasters and overpopulation, life on the home planet is no longer possible. Mankind joins forces with one goal: To escape into space to start a
new Ara to begin there.
new Ara to begin there.
2100 - Life on other nearby planets works well. Humans overcome difficult challenges by banding together. The common goal to enable further research to expand even further,
has the highest priority.
has the highest priority.
2150 - Humans are now traveling farther and farther in space through new technological and medical advances.
Many planets, even distant ones, are colonized.
2200 - Traveling through space has become commonplace. Almost everyone owns a living shuttle to do various things, travel and visit other people.
2222 - The first residential shuttle furniture store ceremoniously opens its doors. Now people are able to buy both furniture and complete capsules for their living shuttles and to buy them directly.
